Sony Music is leaving no stone unturned to emerge as one of the major music players across the country. After gaining immense recognition and accolades for the hit single ‘Kolaveri Di’ from the movie “3”, the music label is all set to present the songs of Tamil film ‘Billa 2’.“Billa 2”, is the much awaited sequence to actor Ajith Kumar’s 2007 super hit ‘Billa’ that became the biggest commercial success in his career. Starting today, Sony Music will present a glimpse of four songs of the film across social/viral platforms and radio.
By featuring a new song every day, the music label breaks away from the norm of one song per week. The music of the film is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the songs have been rendered by Stefny, Shweta Pandit, Tanvi Shah, Suvi Suresh, Andrea Jeremiah and Ranjith.

By showcasing a new song each day, we’re giving the fans something to look forward to every single day. We’re tapping on Ajith’s popularity and we’re confident that everyone will truly appreciate the idea of this visual treat.”
‘Billa-2’, takes in the ‘flashback’ mode and traces the reasons and factors which force Kumar to evolve as the don ‘Billa’. A vengeance story supported by romance is all set to hit the screens in June.
The official music launch of the movie is on 1 May.
