Ashwin Kakumanu, who played the Dharavi cop in Mankatha, has been approached to act in Ajith’s 52nd film to be directed by Vishnuvardhan.
Earlier we had news confirmed that Tapsee had been roped in to act in the film.
Ashwin’s performance in Mankatha has been well-received. We heard that he has been offered a role in the film, for which shooting is expected to start by the end of this month.
The untitled project has already begun show signs of a multi-star cast with the likes of Arya, Nayantara, Taapsee already roped in and with Ashwin being close to be roped in.
The film is produced under A M Ratnam’s supervision with A.Raghuram as the producer. With Ajith-Yuvan combo already making chartbusters, music of Billa 2 has received exceptional response which is quite usual for the combo.
