Sandalwood
actor Avinash's platter is full not just with a range of roles, but
also films across industries. While he plays a fun-loving father to
Puneeth Rajkumar in Ninnindale and a righteous police inspector
in Upendra's Brahma, Avinash's next will see him play a powerful and
strong villain in an upcoming Tamil film that stars Thala Ajith in the
lead role.
The Tamil film, titled Veeram, is being directed by Siva of Siruthai fame. Having worked with the director previously Avinash says he agreed to do the role because it's very interesting and challenging. "I play a character who, due to poverty, has become vengeful and is willing to do anything wrong for his own benefit," says the actor adding, "I've already shot for a couple of scenes in Chennai and will resume shooting for it in December. So far, my interactions have been with actor Nassar, as he too plays a villain in the film."
But does he share screen space with Ajith? "Of course, there will be a lot of scenes with Ajith. I'm looking forward to them, because Ajith is a very simple and dedicated actor. It's always a pleasure to work with him," says Avinash.
